Overview of leading Contract Lifecycle Management solutions and their use in Denmark

CLM-rapport

In spring 2010 Gestion Consulting has made an analysis about the use of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions in Denmark based on a national survey among both public and private companies in the country. In addition a search was made to identify the leading CLM solutions worldwide.

The focus has been on "Enterprise Contract Lifecycle Management” solutions, which at the enterprise level are able to handle both sales-, procurement- and project contracts from creation all the way to termination/renewal.

Based on this analysis a 32-page report has been created giving an overview of

  • worldwide leading CLM solutions and a short description of each solution
  • contract management solutions currently used by Danish companies. This overview is based on interviews with more than 35 public and private organizations.
  • other contract management solutions found during the survey

The analysis is based on available informations on individual CLM vendor homepages, international analysis reports as well as interviews with vendors and Danish companies.

Good practice for Contract Management

God skik

Gestion has prepared a guideline for good contract management practice with an overall checklist of all the activities you should be considering in terms of management of especially larger IT service contracts. The checklist is structured around 12 different aspects of contracts management including e.g. organization, employees, IT, administration, risks, relationships, performance etc. The guideline can be used for contract managers to check if core activities and tasks are in place laying the foundation for a good contract management practice.
